You can get pregnant anytime during your cycle.... a mans sperm can live up to 5 days in a woman's' body. Normally, a woman ovulates 14-20 days after the first day of your period.

If you don't want to get pregnant, please get some contraceptives.

It is better to have sex before your next period as opposed to afterwards which is a higher risk for pregnancy, you know after you've ovulated, dropped eggs and that whole horrible process.

Each person is different. The way I learned it is that if you have a 28 day cycle... then you are most likely to get pregnant on days 12-16. This is for MOST women... but each person is a little different. Oh yeah... day 1 is the first day after your period ends... Hope that helped...

well before your period you are full of all the stuff your period is releasing, and then after your period your not because its all flowed. Also, not that I have, but when you are on your period and have sex, always wear protection becuase you can still get pregnant when you are on period, my friend just had a baby boy and she got pregnant while she was on her period

you really should go to planned parenthood or doctor and get information from a medical professional.
and always, always, ALWAYS use protection. condom, birth control, both, whatever. that is the best way to lower your risk of getting pregnant (besides not having sex). if you don't know that, you shouldn't be having sex. period.

the best time is right after your period. but this is not foolproof at all. contraceptives are the way to go.

It doesn't matter when you have sex, you're at risk for pregnancy.
