I am looking for a site that would let me post an ad for a bass and electric guitar im selling and give me fast results. The local newspaper charges 30 to post an ad so if anyone knows of a website thats cheaper or even free and would let me post something for people in my area to see let me know please. i live in rochester new york if location matters.

EBay is pretty cheap to list on. You could also try the papers of surrounding areas that are near your city or even a community/rural paper.
