Why? Because he's a loser. He got a point on a penalty kick that he shouldn't have because there was no foul. Matterazzi was talking s.h.i.t. just like everyone does on the playing field. Who knows what Zidane said first, and who really cares. Loser = Zidane. He's headbutted before in a major game. Read this...

Zidane apologises for headbutt

TURIN, Italy, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Juventus and France midfielder Zinedine Zidane has apologised for his sending off in Tuesday's Champions League defeat to Hamburg.
'I am very unhappy about what happened, and I know full well that behaving like that put my team mates in a difficult position.

'The pressure on the pitch led me to react in an instinctive manner that was produced by the tension of the moment. This is why I feel the need to apologise,' the player said in a statement on Juve's official website.

Zidane is likely to face a lengthy suspension by UEFA's disciplinary committee on Friday.

The former World Player of the Year was dismissed in the 29th minute for head-butting Hamburg defender Jochen Kientz, and team mate Edgar Davids was dismissed four minutes later for a second bookable offence.

Playing with nine men for the remaining 57 minutes, Juventus lost 3-1 and must now win their final game away to Greek club Panathinaikos to be sure of a place in the second phase of the competition.

To Err is Human, To forgive divine !
All big men have erred and their greattness prevailed over the errors. Mahatma Gandhi became the man of peace and nonviolence but had erred in his early days. Maradona being great was found doped on number of occassion, pranked with his cars and women. There are umpteen examples like that.
And none of us is God. And comparing humans with gods is where we err. Zidane is a great sportsman but has erred on the last day. This shows that he is human and I am happy to see that he is human. B'cos.... Perfection is the work of Satan.

He will be remembered as the football greatest players in the books of history. I hope this will be a turning point in his new life. After this error he will be working for the poor , the under-privileged who need him more than anyone. I am sure. Thank God! Zidane is not a God

It looks like they have been going at it for a while during the game...that was just the climax....guy probably called zidane an old bald man lol. words were exchnaged beforehand though. the physical aggrassion at this point in Zidane's career is most likely not what he wants to be remembered by.

I can only think the Italian player said something extemely offensive, possibly against Islam, as Zidane is a muslim

The Italian probably got away with something or said something to piss off Zidane but no excuse.

The fool that said the Italian player is known to be dirty should do his own "research." Zidane has been dirty himself. He was booked in the last world cup for cleating and was sent off in 2000 in a club game for...what do you know...headbutting another player.

That italian player is known for being a dirty player all over the Italian league. Do some research and you will see. He probably deserved it.

Zidane was stupid for doing that, he is known to have a bit of a temper in the past, although he is still a great player.

zidane headbutted him because the italian kept on pinching his nipples.
im not kidding! they showed it on the spanish channel......
plus the guy probably said some stuff
AND zidane's arm was probably killing him so he just decided to headbutt him.

Why? Because BBL4U is a homo. He's gay. Gay you say? Yes gay I say. LOSER = Italian cheaters. It takes an outspoken man to stand up in the face of racism, it takes a group of Italians wankers to be stripped of a championship (a la Juventus' future). Read this..

BBL4U is "as gay as they come."

Home, July 10 (BBC)

BBL4U has recently admitted what a nonsensical fag he is. He was quoted saying, "I'm as gay as they come." This does not come as a shock to many since his homosexual tendencies far exceed that of George Micheals.

Playing now with men, BBL4U is in his own little utopia.
