The House, probably not. The Democrats are not organized enough to mount the kind of campaign they would need to take all of those seats from the Republicans, despite how badly the Republicans have been doing lately. The Democrats stand a much better chance in the Senate. I think unless we capture bin Laden or something like that, the Senate will go Democrat but the House will stay Republican.

Hard to tell at the moment, but I think the amount of infighting and direction changes they've exhibited hint at meltdown. For some reason, they still seem to have trouble communicating exactly what they believe and detailing their focus and solutions.

I think part of it is that they hate Bush so much that it's making them emotional and they're spending far too much time bashing him (and he's not running again) instead of communicating with the people about problems and solutions. Government should be all about solutions.

They already have had their melt down. Now the question is will they even gain a seat in either house of Congress?

Unless the Democrats come up with something better than pro abortion and we are not them than no. You have to be able to explain what your views are and how it will help people. Complaining about a problem will never fix the problem.

main problem, their fringe groups with they so often pamper are not big in getting out in numbers and voting,

So unless they do better actually getting thier base out and voting, they will not do well again.
