If you talk to Soldiers and Marines who are returning from there, they have glowing reports of how well the people there are doing. They don't realize that it's not Iraqis that we are fighting, it's foreign fighters. The Iraqi people love us and are glad to have us assisting them. Instead, the majority want's to believe what they see and hear in the media.

The News Media only reports the negative things. They seem to have an agenda. This gives the impression to the general population that things are going bad. I guess a story about a car bomb is more of a ratings grabber than a story about a school or hospital being opened up. Most news organizations seem to think that only bad news sells.

Plus,

The media is "liberal" in general. This gives them a negative bias against the current administration so it has a vested interested in anything that makes the military and/or government look bad.

I am sure when the next president (a democrat) gets into office this will all change. Suddenly the "war" will become a good thing and they will make it apear that the new administration is why things are better.

Well, if our soldiers are fighting only FOREIGN FIGHTERS, then explain why OUR soldiers are killing Iraqis. Of course, they always say that they were "insurgents" or it was "friendly fire". I would like to hear your thoughts about the rape/slayings of an innocent Iraqi family.
When soldiers start to behave this way, as in Vietnam, it is a sure sign of the angry, frustrated soldier who doesn't want to be there.
Our soldiers should not be losing arms, legs, kidneys, faces, etc. and their lives for this war. And the cowboy who brought us into this war have only promoted the idea that we are freakin' arrogant to the rest of the world.
Have you missed the many international blogs on Yahoo about this? It's gauling to me (and Yahoo is an American invention)!

Some people still get their news from the New York Times and CNN if you can believe it! The theres the liberals who will simply never accept anything Bush does as right. Going into Iraq was a risky move. Not sure I would have done it myself, but we're there now and the job needs to get finished right. If a democracy lives on in Iraq, the benefits will be amazing and show Bush to have been an excellent president.

They're doing real well until somebody shoots them or blows them up. Do you really think they want us there? C'mon, get real. They were better off under Saddam.
They don't want democracy because they've never had one before, all they know are dictatorships and they're happiest under that. We have no business trying to impose American values and the American way of life on a nation that doesn't want it.

well thats the problem with false informers present a false picture and call it true and alot of people would beleive it,others might look around and ask now how the heck did they do that movie with such real effects ?they might doubt that there is a real problem, but yu say we are winning, that depends on what yu call winning, and if people are dieing i dont think thats winning,no your only wining if you and everyone can disarm all the weapons without killing either side,

Over 2500 American soldiers have lost their lives in Iraq. People are parentless, spouseless, brotherless, sisterless and childless due to this war. What are winning? Less people.

What did we win? Why are we still over there when it doesn't seem that they want us by the way they keep blowing up our soldiers. I simply don't believe you.
