If Clinton bashers are fiscal conservatives, why aren't they bashing the crap out of Bush, the least fiscally conservative president in history?

We were the laughing stock of the world when Clinton was in. When interest rates fall, it usually means that the economy is heading towards a recession or a depression. We have actually gained more jobs since Bush was in withe unemployment being under 5%. Bush is trying to fix everything that Clinton did. We had more attacks without retaliation during Clinton's era than anytime past or present. Even our founding fathers stuck up for what they believed in against England. Clinton let people die without doing anything. The only thing that he did do is get us into Bosnia where we still have between 10,000 and 20,000 troops. He also cut the military so much that they can not do what the US needs to to support the corrupt UN. Clinton was asleep at the wheel and had Osama Bin Laden on a silver platter and told Syria to let him go.

I'm not a Clinton basher per se, I don't believe in reliving the past. But respect around the world should not affect the decisions we make as a country. We should make the decision that should be made, regardless of what other countries think.

I'm not a Bush apologist, but I do believe in accuracy. So, I must point out that the economy is good, and gas prices have nothing to do with the presidency. There are other (too detailed for here) reasons for the differences in the two presidencies, it's not as simple as you make it sound. Clinton wasn't as good as you think, and Bush isn't as bad as you think. Neither is great, and neither sucks. They're both actually about middle-of-the-road presidents.

I know.

This is what I keep saying when ppl talk about H.Clinton maybe running for the oval office. I'm like.. geez don't you think it would be a great signal to the world that we are back on track about caring about the rest of the world. B.Clinton was admired and respected around the world.

Also, you are exactly right about the economics of the Clinton administration. What most uneducated ppl on the issue say is stuff like.. he inherited a great economy from Bush Sr.. etc... BUT that is bull because if you know the facts, Clinton immediately in 1992 began to use what is called PAY AS YOU GO budget economics = booming economy. And Bush immediately discontinued that when he got into office = crashing economy.

If they are so called 'fiscal conservatives' why in the hell did Bush discontinue that system that kept our budget balanced and state, 'deficits don't matter'.

Clinton bashers are the most mentally deficiant of the population. They will believe anything ever told them. They still think that Bush is trying to straighten out his mess. (what mess) A ballanced budget, responsive to the people, respected in the world. That is only a few of the reasons that I say he was the best in over 40 years at the business of running the country.

Not that I'm a clinton basher, but why do you think that bush has so many problems? for example 911 happened during the beggining of bushes first term that could have been prevented by stricter border patrol seeing as clinton left our borders fairly open. Shure things were better with clinton but he set things up subconsiously so that they would be worse for the next guy.

It's too bad he left a recession because of his fiscal policy that ended in October 2000.

Clinton has nothing to do with nat gas prices = supply and demand do.

Low interest rates = nothing at all - Greenspan handled that.

More jobs = Clinton didn't create one job, the economy does.

Just like a liberal thinks that the president creates everything including jobs.

What a nut

WTC '93, and then, he passed Osama up on a silver platter. Of course, he was too busy having oral sex with cigar helpers.

The rest of the world shouldn't be a President's primary concern. Neither should popularity polls. The security and best interests of the American people should be. And I do respect Clinton, he was a moderate Dem, not a kooky liberal. He was a very wormy, typical politician though, as smart and appealing as he is.

first of all get your facts right meathead. we were not "respected" they liked clinton as president because he was a moron, and a criminal, the middle east liked him because they knew they can do whatever they want and he would never attack them, the french liked him because he left the middle east alone so they can make money with their oil deal, and the chinese liked him because he sold them military secrets. And as for the jobs and financial aid bs. I am disabled and i have PLENTY of aid, I have my perscription drugs PAID IN FULL which would come to about 700 dollars a month, not to mention my SSI which is more then adequte for me to live on. So know what your talking about before you blab your mouth.
And as for the other countries I COULD CARE LESS
FRANCE SUCKS
GERMANY SUCKS
and MUSLIMS are the biggest group of pollution in the world
the damn french are a bunch of panzies, let them go cross their legs and talk about we wees and watch their damn mimes

Clinton did a terrible wrong but as President he was one of America's best. The Bush Presidency has done nothing but wrong all in the name of OIL and making his friends rich, where once we were respected in the world now even our friends consider us the new AXEL OF EVIL, and that's a shame.
