Assuming you were qualified, and passed all physical requirements, would you volunteer for a shuttle mission if asked?

As long as the trip up was guaranteed safe, then absolutely yes. After my time in space, it wouldn't really matter to me, one way or another, if I made it back down in one piece.

Can you guarantee I'm coming back down (in one uncharred piece) in the Space Shuttle? If so, then yes, I'd go up in it.
