Middle income is screwed, poor can pop out babies and get earned income credits , getting money back they didnt even pay?
I go broke at taxtime on my middle income, cant afford to pay my kids college,.
FYI it is the middle income and higher income that result in 80+% of the government's oncome...yet the liberals say we need more taxes on the rich.
I say stop giving our money away and get a fair flat tax (like sales tax)

We made 94, 000 last year, paid 4000 in property tax, 8000 in income tax, 8% sales tax, and yet I should want more taxes??.
My wife had to borrow $20,000 to pay for nursing school , because our 40,000 income at the time was sooooooo much. Now as she makes moey we are punished for it.

Do you think we should promote prosperity not reward the lazy.
I know not all are lazy but damn I am tired of it.

Even after the loopholes Rich are payuing 40% of their income, how much you pay after yours, you probably got more back than you paid. Stop stealing OUR money

Last year when I started college, I had to pay so much just because I wasn't poor enough to get it free, and it wasn't easy to pay because I am not rich....I work, and work, and work and never seem to get ahead just because I am never given any handouts, and money doesn't come easy. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is anything wrong with working, its just so hard for the middle income to get anywhere.

YYEESSSS!!!!! But would you trade with me? I got a raise! wahoo now i make $500 too much for the child tax credit, had to pay the entire 27% income tax and with my companies help it will only cost me $11,000 a year for basic medical if i don't use it. My car ins. cost me $1500 for a 12 year old beater, and heaven forbid i should want a meat and potatoes meal! I am a state licensed electrician and thank you California for making it a law now so that i am not worth what i was before. You probably think take a step up and out! Sure i accept donations, but I'd wrather earn it. Almost forgot i have a disabled wife that can't work and that same $500 prohibits the state from even considering whether or not she is disabled. Quit complaining and i will!

first of all this government is totally screwed. this government is all about getting tax breaks for the rich. second this war in Iraq is draining our federal reserve like a leech. we spend 4 billion dollars a year of the national budget to keep this war going. third yes i agree. lazy bums ought to not be allowed to sit around and draw welfare. in foreign countries they don't have these problems. you don't work, you don't eat. people in this country have it too good. they just pop out a few babies, get on welfare, and stretch the food stamps. how can we solve these problems?

A. Don't let no 18 or 19 year old kids with hyper disorders get on an SSI check. they could be putting that energy into hard work

B. If a man and a woman get together, and have sex they ought to both bear the consequences. No welfare. No food stamps. they had that baby let them support it.

C. Disability ought to be exclusively for older people who really can't work anymore. If these kids drawing disability are that retarded that they can't work ship their butts to government institution, and put them in the padded room.

im sure you are reading to much into it, if claiming benefits was that simple we would all be doing it, i am also a worker with a child,with expensive nursery bills own my own house paying taxes, but then i tell myself every day i have a nest egg to leave my only child and would be bored if i didnt work, believe me i grew up with parents receiving benefits and had nothing not a meal some days so if i were you id make the best of what you have

If you have trouble living on 82,000 a year you should reexamine your own finaces's Try living on $1200 a year and raising a family.
