Yes they are hun...anyone in contact at all with children must have a CRB disclosure

No the recruitmen agencies do not have to have anything like that. It is up to the school to asj for the CRB check. I don't think there is actually a law at all which governs this. I do know that the regulations for agency staff are not as strict as contracted staff.

All staff that work in schools have to have a crb disclosure; whether the agency sorts this or whether its between the school and you I don't know. If its a reputable agency I can't see there'd be a problem.

if you are working with children or have anything to do with them in your care then yes you must have a crb cuz for all they know you could have a record with children
