There are all sorts of charities. I'm not sure what kind you are looking for. Here are some off the top of my head....
Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
American Diabetes Association
American Cancer Society
There are charities for just about everything...animals, health and diseases, literary, educational, poverty and the list goes on and on. Maybe do some research that helps support something you really believe in.

There are many charities but beginning to help others can begin by doing things like volunteering your time to help. Volunteering can be rewarding as well and can be used on your resume.

The ASPCA or The Humane Society. Don't throw your money away on "people" charities. people are a waste
