You can do this a couple of different ways....depending on the look and quality you're going after. Several cans of white, gray, and black spray paint, sanding down the entire truck, drawing out and masking your own pattern would be very cheap....not much more than 100-200 dollars. A paint job that's professionally done with automotive grade paint, and protective clearcoat could be upwards of $5000-6000 dollars, not including any body work that might have to be done first. Custom paint jobs like this can run over 10,000 dollars, depending on the type and quality you want. I would contact a few body shops for estimates.

Too many variables to answer your question accurately.

1. How much prep work does the truck need?

2. What level of quality are you interested in?

My experience is that even a half-assed paint job that isn't going to fall off at the first bump is about a $1,500 proposition. If this is a newer truck that still has considerable value, I would say $3,000--$5,000 is more suitable.

You can go to Miracle Auto Body and probably get it done very cheaply, but keep in mind that prep work will be down and dirty, and the paint itself not of good quality.

You get what you pay for.
