I have found grease spots on my t-shirts after washing and drying. I spray them with SHOUT and rewash. This takes the stains out. I don't know what it is.

Something like Shout should work. Or make a paste of your regular detergent and rub into the spots. I get this sometimes and I read somewhere that fabric softener sheets can often leave spots like this on certain materials.

I like Fels Naptha soap for stains, get a bar and get it wet and rub the stain... The stains may be coming from one or two different things...Your washer transmission may be leaking oil or may have a seal leaking grease of some sort. Or... You may have a drum seal on your dryer out of place and the clothes are rubbing against something.

Cause is probably a bad grease seal in one of the machines. Wash and line dry a few things and see of the grease is on them. If it isn't then the dryer is the culprit.

You can buy a product called "MEAN GREEN" that will remove virtually anything from clothes. Just soak the stain with mean green and then rewash your shirts
