My problem is I have 2 sub e-mail accounts to and my computer will not remember any of my e-mail addresses when I log in. It requires me to type the entire e-mail addresas even the sbcglobal.net suffix, which is a pain in the butt.
There has to be a way to get my computer to remember my addresses. I'm thinking the SBC internet provider through Yahoo is conflicting with MS Explorer. Please help if you can. Thanks, Ben

MS Internet Explorer is a web browser, like Firefox (http://www.getfirefox.com). There are setting you can change to save information that you typed in a field before.

In MSIE you can go to Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > Auto Complete button > Check the boxes you want your browser to save.

You do need some browser program to access Web content, either MS Internet Explorer or Firefox or some other program.

When you log into your SBC account, is it possible to link your account with a Yahoo! Mail account? If you had a Yahoo! Mail account then you wouldn't have to type in the @sbcglobal.net part of your address.

Perhaps you should just open such an account and leave the sbcglobal.net address alone. You will then get to keep your same @yahoo.com email address even if you switch Internet Service Providers.

Yes and no... MS Explorer and MS Internet Explorer are the same thing. Also they are built into Windows so if you are running Windows98 or higher, you are already running Explorer. You do not need to open a Explorer page however.

Here is a little trick... Go to My Documents and type in the address bar "www.google.com" or even going to run and run "www.yahoo.com". It is always running and always accessable, wherther you want it or not...
