O-Star, there is so much incorrect advice in these answers. Some of the advice is not just plain wrong, it will actually damage your skin or make the spots worse.
I suffered with acne for many years until I researched all the clinical evidence online. The following is PROVEN to work.
To get rid of your spots you need to do three things:
1. In the morning, cleanse the skin with a cleanser than contains Salicylic Acid at 2% concentration. It prevents the pores getting blocked.
2. Following that, re-hydrate the skin with a NON-OIL based moisturiser. Salicylic Acid can dry out the skin, which can lead to increased shedding of skin cells, which can block the pores, so you need to make sure your skin never gets dry after cleansing.
3. Kill the acne bacteria by using an acne gel containing Benzoyl Peroxide at 2.5% or 5%. DO THIS AT NIGHT ONLY!! Putting it on during the day makes your skin very sensitive to the sun, which is harmful.
If money is tight, then go for the Benzoyl Peroxide gel only. It is the only treatment known to kill the acne bacteria, which, contrary to what a lot of these answers say, lies beneath the skin, not on the surface. Simply cleansing the skin will not kill the bacteria that causes acne. Washing the skin similarly has no effect as the problem is not caused by dirt. You can have squeeky-clean skin and still have acne.
I'd recommend that if you're looking to buy these products on the high street, try to avoid being swayed by manufacturers claims and packaging. Make sure they that contain the ingredients I've mentioned. These are the clinically-proven treatments that WILL work.
All the best

Firstly, never use soap on your face, A) it dries your skin and B) it can clog your pores. I only ever use baby wipes to cleanse my face. Do this in the morning and then again before you go to bed. If you have really oily skin or you sweat alot in the hot weather, carry some wipes in your bag and cleanse your face during the day too. As someone else suggested, toothpaste (just a little dab at bedtime) helps to dry the spots up. Try not to clog your skin with makeup but you can get an antiseptic type of cover stick that you can apply to cover the redness. Other than that, just do all the normal things like lay off all the sweets and fizzy drinks and eat plenty of fruit and veg and drink loads of water. Don't worry you will wake up one morning and be spot free!!

I'm not a dermatologist but I have found a good way to get rid of spots anywhere is to get some cotton balls and a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rub down the entire face or effected area, it will dry the skin out and may help with spots.

Drink lots of water every day (minimum 2 litres) do exercise and once a week give yourself a facial by putting your face over a bowl of steamy water. This opens the pores and lets the impurities out, but you need to cleanse well after and don't forget to moisturise too!
Don't touch your face or let anything touch your face.
But honey, the thing is when you're 13 you have spots. I did and anyone over 13 who reads this will have had them too. Be proud of your spots!!!! Worry when you're 30 and you start getting spots again....

DO NOT put any alcohol, toothpaste or astringents NEAR your face!! not only are you damaging your skin, while you try to strip the oil from your face, the more oil your skin will produce to make up for what it has lost!! you can get australian body care from the internet it contains a tea tree oil face wash and also a face gel called "ketsugo" you can get it from one of the best shopping channels, it might not seam that "cheap" but its concentrated and lasts a long time. my niece had a bad skin and spots ,this cleared it up quite quickly and she has not had any bother since. she would never be without it! anyway hope iv'e helped you a little at least , good luck. p.s. remember DON'T use anything harsh on your skin!!.

If they're caused by the natural oils in your skin, then you need to cleanse them (with either soap or a special facial skin cleanser.) Then you need an astringent. It will take away the rest of the grease and then make like a coating on the top so that they will not fill in again with grease. But you have to repeat this every day.

spots? whaaa! ha ha j/k, try tanning in the sun. the sun is still free last time i checked, but be specific on what kind of spots. if sun cant help, try sand paper. sounds bad but hey scrapes will make you look like you got into a fight and just say it was a big guy/girl and you opened up a can of "whoop ***" for this person, and your battle scars will heal up better than a spot would.. hopefully this helps a bit. when i was 13 i would of probably done it. i was a crazy kid back in the day. oh man im almost 30. damn im old... ha ha have a good day.

Prevention is the best cure.
-Don't touch your face (expect when washing it) because you can spread the spots due to the bacteria and grease.
-When you wash your face make sure there is no alcohol or soap in it.
-Make sure you are not allergic to the produts you use (eg.face wash, creams, toner, foundation) they can cause irritarion to the skin and then spots will follow.
-Use products that are right for your skin type (eg. sensitive, dry, combination)
-To cover up use a light tined moisturiser.
-Don't eat greasy foods.
Finally your age and hormones are bound to make a few spots but it'll pass.

Hi, Have your mom go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and check out the Clear Advantage Line in the online catalog. It works great and now is the time for you to really start taking care of you skin. Arbonne products are pure, safe and beneficial. The are never tested on animals and have no animal by-products in them. If you want to know what goes into OTC makeups and lotions google "rendering plants" and you will see what goes into them.
Good luck to you.

Go to your doctor and ask him to prescribe "Quinoderm" this will help remove the spots. Also, use a Philips Infra-red health lamp daily (~20mins per day)
Both will cure the spots on your forehead.
