I notice you didn't pick any of the real worst ones, the democrats.
Nixon ended the Vietnam war, which Democrat Kennedy started and Johnson enlarged. And Nixon opened up relations with China.
Bush the 1st fought and won the popular Gulf War and freed Kuwait.
Democrat Clinton, besides cheating on his wife and lying to congress, let Saddam rebuild his strength and let Bin Laden get away.
Bush the 2nd is working to defend us from terrorists.
Hoover was only guilty of being president when a world wide depression struck.
Democrat Franklin Roosevelt used the end of the depression as an excuse to grab more power, not leaving office until his death. And enacted socialist laws that stripped some freedoms.
Democrat Carter stripped the military to the point that it couldn't fight to defend us,then allowed a minor recession to build into a major downturn that almost ruined the economy.
Republican Reagan was probably the best 20th century president. He pulled us out of recession, and set in motion the end of the cold war and defeated communism.Liberals still won't forgive him for doing what was needed and right.

there is easily little doubt that Bush is the worst president ever. yet we knew he will be once he become chosen. he's worse than his dad, worse than Reagan, worse than Nixon, etc. He allowed 9/11 to take position, and has finished not something about it. He began a warfare, for no good reason, causing the deaths of thousands of people, and thousands of innocuous Iraqis. He hasn't ever finished one good element for this united states. He entered workplace with the affordable surplus, and rapidly became it right into a record deficit, which grows daily. preparation, the ecology, and the commercial equipment have all suffered lower than his watch. the hollow between prosperous and adverse has grown even extra. quickly, there'll be no center classification. He has divided the country like no individual earlier him. He has no regard for the structure. he's a bigot. His administration is the most corrupt ever. Unemployment has risen with Bush interior the White domicile, and, inspite of the actuality that it has finally come down extremely, it has yet to come again as low because it become even as he become chosen, and the favourite of jobs being created at the on the spot are not almost as good. the country is now a lot less secure than it ever has been. the U. S. is hated more advantageous than it ever has been, that is truly unhappy, on account that all of us become with us after 9/11. the country, and the international are worse off because of him. that is going to take many years (a lengthy time period, perhaps) to undo each and each and every of the damage he has finished.

As far as damage to the nation, dubya is the worst. He took a budgetary surplus that was left to him by the previous Democratic administration and within his first term turned it into a huge deficit . He has further run up the deficit to be the greatest debt in history with China as our largest creditor. The US is financially responsible to the largest COMMUNIST COUNTRY in the world . Our great grandchildren will still be trying to pay it off. He has brought dishonor to the country by lying to the world about his motives and further dishonor to his office by his total disregard for the rule of law and the Constitution of the USA. He has repeatedly lied about his actions and then used his appointed lackeys in the Justice Dept to justify them. The economy may appear to be doing better on paper but the only people benefitiing from any increase are those with HUGE stock holdings and stock options. The regular man on the street is paying more for less and being paid less for doing more work.
If you are fortunate enough to be in the 1/2 of 1% at the top of the economic scale, things are looking good ... This adminisration has declared that we will have a service-based economy. What this really means is that the vast majority will lose economically and the division between the wealthy and the poor will grow, with the middle class declining and losing economically.......

I'll say Harding was the worst president. We don't have any historical perspective on the Bush presidencies yet; ask me in 20 years. Nixon ended the Vietnam war and established relations with China, so he far from the worst president. The depression itself was not Hoover's fault, even if it dealt with it poorly.

Im surrounded by uneducated cretins, I continue to be astounded by the lack of intelligence. The worst president ever is BY FAR Jimmy Carter, Nixon, the Bushes never did a single damn thing to even be put on the list. Or how about Bill Clinton raising taxes higher then any president in history, who then became the biggest tight wad hording all the money until it caused a MASSIVE deficit the George Bush inherited, and he gets blamed for it. His father shouldnt really be considered because he never really had anything important to do, the only thing I have a problem with about him is how he didnt blow the crap out of saddam when he had the chance. We win the war and he just pulls out, to leave Satan in the flesh to try to rebuild his army, Billy boy goes in office and does jack crap. you got Nixon on here which also makes no sense to me, he didnt do much of anything, instead you should have Lyndon B Johnson and JFK on there for starting the vietnam war and not winning it on purpose. but im wasting my breath because your obviously bleeding heart liberals who havent grown up yet

yo "Fish"........first of all the Viet Nam War was a legacy of French colonial rule, that became an international conflict which we became heavily involved in. Secondly, Nixon did not "end" the VN war. We lost that war....remember? If you want to thank anyone for "ending the war" you can thank Senators James William Fulbright, Robert F. Kennedy, Eugene J. McCarthy, and George S. McGovern, not to mention the anti-war movement.

Worst President?.......George W. Bush........what an embarassment

Throw in Reagan and you have the worst 5 that has been. I think Bush jr. is probably the worst because of the war and other faulty decisions that he has made. Like tax cuts for the very rich while leaving the poor and middle class behind. Deficit spending at record levels. His failure to respond to the Katrina disaster. Ect. ect. ect.
