Unfortunately, Wikipedia.org doesn't have a page for July 9, 1960 yet, nor a page for the year of 1960 (their coverage of events on a year-by-year basis appears to currently cease at 1970, but this date will probably be pushed back as more contributions are made). They do, however, have a page for the date throughout history, should you be interested.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_9

Hopefully that will help.
