no first off, a 2D computer screen is creating an illusion of a 3D world not an actual one. The fourth dimension (time) is inherantly different than the first three dimensions (Height, Length, Width, X,Y,Z),

Actually, there are no "set" dimensions. Height could be any one the "normal" 3 spatial dimensions. Its just that most people make it number 3 after length and depth. But it could just as well be the 1st dimension if stated in the Height, Depth, Width sequence. Understand?

The real world occupies an unknown number of spatial dimensions. (Some people say they can prove 11 total spatial dimensions, but I have yet to be convinced) Humans take up 3 of these. (Length, Depth, Height).

Time could be a dimension in itself, but since we do not experience control over time, it really should not be counted.

As for the original question, yes just like a 2D screen depicting the illusion of a 3D landscape, a 3D projection could (in theory) make an illusion of a fourth spatial dimension. HOWEVER......this would not be practical because 3 dimensional humans cannot see anything beyond our 3 spatial dimensions. Just like a dog can hear super high sound frequencies but we can't. Some ornithologists (Bird experts) say that birds do contain the ability to see several dimensions "above" human sight, but again this it only speculation.

yes... it could...

but the 4D games i've seen just aren't very good yet.. better wait for the updated versions..

JUST KIDDING!!!

a holographic display would be able to display a cross-section of the 4D world.. or... a transposition of the 4D world onto a 3D plane.. much like what you see on a flat screen... or television..

now... after you get the 4D world onto your holographic display... would you really be able to interpret it and tell what is going on there?.. can our 3D minds comprehend it?

no a 2d computer screen only depicts a 3d world in 2d view
a holographic display could display a 3d world in 3d but we only see it in 2d sorry

Yes, that would be possible. I have seen 2D pictures of what a 3D image of a 4D cube would look like. The source shows one.

usually the words are commonly misused. The time period second for 2 Dimensions is common adequate, it potential a flat floor. A television show is flat and in ordinary words shows one flat photo at a time. regardless of the indisputable fact that, this time period is faulty because the 4 standard coordinate dimensions of the universe are area, area, area, and time. on the grounds that a television shows 2 flat area dimensions and those pictures replace with time, a flat television show is definitely 3-D (area, area, time). even as the photo is cut up into 2 pictures to grant an extra intensity perception that is often referred to as 3-D television even although in truth, the three-D area with volume remains replacing so a three-D television easily approximates 4 dimensions (area, area, area, time). 3-D is a fairly deceptive theory because it may also propose 3 area dimensions for something like a three-D photo (area, area, area). no longer in ordinary words that, yet extra advanced 3-D platforms challenge many perspectives to create a extra authentic feeling of volume. The e book I wrote describes show platforms with those conventions because they're extra technically precise than the present terminology. even as human beings discuss 3-D television they must be keeping 4D because it shows 3-D volume that alterations with time. once you're questioning, 5D and previous at the instantaneous are not inevitably meaningless concepts, they purely won't be able to be tested in our 4D universe without approximations. imagine about it this way, a length is purely yet another measuring device. an more suitable length purely potential you could degree or be conscious extra efficient factors of something. Take time as an celebration: as time passes issues replace and also you'll study extra about those issues. yet another length ought to easily propose that you'll be able to study extra about something as you traverse that length.

you can project a 4d cube(tesseract) onto a 3d surface and then onto a 2d one.
