My husband wont spend any time with my son and I. Everytime I want to go somewhere or do something together he says he has no time. He's either working or fixing his car we never have family time. I told him he is negleting us and I will leave if he doesnt change. He claims to love me but doesnt care. I think he is negleting me. What do you think?

Maybe he just doesn't understand how you feel. Try showing interest in what he's doing. You may feel that repairing cars is boring, but he obviously doesn't share your feeling. Maybe he'd enjoy going to the races, all of you could go. Sit down and talk to him; there must be some compromise, on both sides, for your marriage to work. Good luck!

He sounds like he needs to restructure his priorities. He probably needs a written schedule. You can ask him when can the family arrange to . . .? and then hold him to it. If he is so "busy" working, etc. he probably does love you and your son. He just needs to be told "we have to arrange some family time. . . ______ will wait, won't it?" If he doesn't agree, you both will need counseling to work out your marriage (and THAT will take time away from his cars and work)
