Well, I'm pretty sure they exist, but I don't think aliens make them.

Yes, I've already answered this before.

Crop circles are not caused by aliens. Some are made by hoaxers, but I have a friend who was a truck driver and has crossed Kansas and Nebraska so many times he got sick of it
and decided to drive a city bus instead.

Here's the situation. You're a truck driver. You are going across the great plains. The road is flat. straight, and there is nothing to see but wheat for the next 16 hours. After you have eaten your lunch, listened to the radio and heard all your favorite songs (again), there is nothing to do.

So you doze off at the wheel. When you wake up, you went through some barb-wire fence, but that was such a slight tug as it broke through that you didn't wake up. You plowed into the middle of some farmer's field, but that didn't wake you up.

Unless he was RIGHT THERE, he didn't know.

Finally, you slowed down enough so that your engine stalled, and then the truck stopped and you woke up. Nobody was hurt.

Now, are you going to call the police and report this...? OF COURSE NOT! OF COURSE NOT!

You turn your rig around in a big circle and try to find your way back to the road before anybody can notice! Maybe you pulled the wheel a little and you curved. Maybe you can tell where the road is by the sun, or something.

In any event, your wheels chew up the wheat or corn or whatever it was, in a big circle before you figure out which way to head to get back to the road. If you are lucky, you don't have to run over another section of his fence to get out of his field.

After a couple days, when someone finds this mess, the track you followed running off the road and getting back to the road has already started to grow back in, and nobody noticed it. What everybody notices is the big circle where you had to turn around a few times (especially if your rig was jack-knifed) and before you could figure out which way the road was.

Most farmers take it philosophically. Most of them are smart enough to figure it out for themselves. But, every so often, there is a news reporter there, or it is visible from the air by sport pilots from a nearby airport, and the farmer just can't resist having a little fun with them. (Hey, YOU try spending your lifetime growing wheat or corn! see how bored YOU get!)

So, yes, they really exist, but they are not caused by aliens. Unless the trucker is from Mexico.

Crop circles obviously exist, because there have been a lot of photos of them. The real question is who made them?

My opinion... human beings.

crop circles (of course) exist, but you don't need aliens to explain how they got there, just good English beer.

they exist, but the question is, who or what created them. Some are man made, but others mosrt certainly were not. It is puzzling.
