Brazil and Germany have the most Final appearances, seven times each. Brazil played the Finals in 1950, 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 1998 and 2002, while Germany played the Finals in 1954, 1966, 1974, 1982, 1986, 1990 and 2002.
