What are you interested in? What do you want to do with your life? If you want to make a total switch in careers, you might have to go back to school. Don't feel ridiculous about it, more and more older people are taking college classes and even getting degrees.

try and think of something where the people need you and not the other way around. i have been made redundant 3 times and refuse to work for another corporate company. people need brickies,joiners,plumbers and a whole host of other things. it doesnt have to be in the building trade it could be anything. think of what is needed in your area. i chose to become a driving instructor. its something that will alway be needed. corporate companies will just make you redundant whenever they dont need you anymore. think of something and do a bit of research.

Try thinking of things that you like to do, like hobbies, or things you do outside of work.

Then see what jobs there are in these areas, and start looking at jobs, or training towards these jobs.

Figure out something you love to do or something you are an authority on, and apply it to a sales position. If you know your product, and are passionate about it, you can sell ANYTHING!!!
