Why is it that the toddlers in the game are unable to die? I want to have a whole family of ghosts at a site, but the game will not allow me to let the toddler die of hunger before child services comes to get him/her. Even when I lock the child in a room with no doors. Is there another way? This question really sounds kind of deranged, lol, but it is only a game.

lure your kid into a room with food... (this is how i got the neigbors) then buy abunch of burnable items and trap em in the enclosed room then make em light the fireplace and sit down then before the fire make sit down in a chair and place an object in front of them so the kid can get a front seat view

The game is programmed for the toddler to be taken to child service only. The programmers never typed in codes that would allow a toddler to die, I'm afraid. Sorry!

Yeah thats true, Usually the child service women just magically transport to the other side of the wall... :s
Babies also cannot die, and i dont think children can.. or can they? Did you know that on the sims.. you can tell the way in which a sim died by there colour? and they will do certain things to haunt you, relating to how they died.
White Ghost - Died of Old Age
Green Ghost - Died of Disease
Red Ghost - Burned - Ghost leaves smoke behind in his/ her trail
Blue Ghost - Drowned, Ghost leaves puddles behind
in his/ her trail
Yellow Ghost - Electricuted, sparks
Pink - Scared to death
Purple - Death by flies
Orange - Satelite etc fell on him/ her whilst stargazing/ watching clouds
Normal - Hunger, takes food from fridge

Have you tried putting the toddler in the pool and drowning it? Otherwise you should just not have a toddler in the family

Unfortunately you cannot kill babies or toddlers in Sims2. It says so in the guide so there is no point trying.

You can use the moveobjects cheat and delete the child intervention person.. every time he/she comes....
Thats all I can think of.

It is considered cruel to kill kids in games.
That is why you never see any kids in Grand Theft Auto.
