prenatal vitamins just have a higher concentration of some of the vitamins that have shown to deter birth defects in developing fetuses. they won't hurt a non-pregnant person.

Many physicians prescribe a prenatal vitamin for all it's good benefits. Even men take them.

Vitamins are good, but too much of a good thing can go bad. Make sure you don't take them for an extended peroid of time.
