the best thing you can do, is take a cool bath, and DONT SCRATCH! Scratching makes it worse. Use ice treatments, on ten minutes then off ten minutes to help with the swelling. If you have to many ant bites, you must go to the emergency room because the swelling will not go down on its own. They will give you a shot of something to help bring the swelling down. The swelling is actually from a poison the ant leaves in the skin. Most people should have not problems with just a few bites, unless your allergic to them like my son is. Two or three of these bites and we have to go to the ER. They swell up on him the size of about 3 inches wide!!

First, ice will immediately bring down the swelling. The other thing to do is to take a thin slice of raw garlic and place it directly over the bite and fasten it down with a bandaid for a day. The garlic will suck the venom out of the wound. The garlic might sting a little, but it will prevent the wound and its poison from progressing. This works for spider bites as well.

Hope this helps,

Well you should check if there is any part of the ant left in your feet which may have broken off as a result of that sting . The best treatment is that you should take an antihistamine pill like cetrizine , ranitidine . In case it is not available over the table you can get a prescription . If you need a immediate relief you should use a antihistamine cream if nothing is available apply Vick's which is generally used for cold as it can act as an antihistamine.

Put ice on it and take some Benedryl. If you have lot of bites or the swelling is huge or you have trouble breathing have someone take you to the emergency room.
