Just about as far as the tank gunner's eyes could focus and lock in on the target. For anti-tank work, a thousand meters is pushing the envelope. For counter batttery-mobile artillery-the 75mm will be limited to mean elevation and length of barrel in determining overall accurate range. With proper conditions they might work out to around 10,000 meters or around 6.2 miles providing they had a spotter to walk the shots ontothe target.

Depends entirely on what you are shooting at.
Against a T34, effective range was determined more by what the gunner could hit that penetration. A IS 2, on the other hand, could bounce a Kw.K 42 shell at 500 m.

A Sherman, short of the A3E2 Jumbo, would be toast out to the horizon, unelss it found itself a handy hull down slope to stand in...

Against infantry targets, it would depend on how much cover is available for the infantry. Shelling infantry in a trench is near futile, on open ground its slaughter.
