A girl in my college class's name is:

Amanda Crow

I just wonder what is this background she is as i dont know her and can't ask.

ive' met other "crow" s too but it is spelled Crowe

Does anybody know what country this name belongs?

American Indian. Most American Indians (remember them, the aborigines of North America-?) are named after animals.
Crow"e" as in Russell "Crowe" is also Australian & came from the aborigines of Australia.
So, I guess your country is North American Indian.

Welsh or Scottish, I thought.
If not, then it's probably in the bird family.
