Self-acceptance is her refusal to be an adversarial relationship to herself. Self-acceptance is to accept and be comfortable with the reality of what and how one is. It doesn't mean ceasing to strive for improvement but accepting what one is while in the process of improvement. When one has self-acceptance, one can relax more deeply into the present, into the necessities of the child formed mind into life. With self-acceptance one takes life less as something ominous and serious and sees it in perspective...and with a sense of humor. With all said she just has to think and she will surpass her atrocities.

Middle School isn't a death trap,it's just a bit scary. Whoever her friends are, that is her 'group'. Don't worry about her not being super-popular,it isn't really that great being popular anyway,it constricts amount of individuality that she can show without being scrutinized by the other girls. More than likely,a lot of other girls are in her same position,so don't worry about her making friends.

Well what is the reason for her having a hard time being herself? Is it cause no one else likes it?or she just unsure what she likes?I say try a few new things and different groups being popular isnt always what its make out to be!You always have to empress someone,no one likes that.Just tell her to do and act the way she most feels comfortable

Welcome to what highschool is all about. She'll spend the next few years trying to find herself. I don't know anyone who knew who they were when they were 12 and if they did it just got ruined later. And then they had to refind themselves. Her whole life will start changing and she'll feel lost at times but that is what happens when you're a teenager. This is totally normal. She'll be fine.

??? middle school is NOT a death trap! just tell her to find friends she trusts and try out everything that sounds fun. just tell her to be around open-minded people and be nice to everyone. middle school is so much better and easier(socially) than elementary.
