i live in stafford, and want to buy a french lop rabbit, from a reputable breeder, i am willing to travel anywhere with in a 50 mile radius of staffordshire, does anyone know of a reputable breeder or where i can find this out.

I looked up rabbit shows online and found what might be a good website for you to look at. The British Rabbit Council has a website on rabbits in Britain. Their website is: www.thebrc.org
Go to the clubs section:

Under Lops they have listed the Nation French and Dwarf Lop Club with a contact and telephone number.
Here in the US we use the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeder's Association, www.arba.net).

Just think, what would you do if you were sick? Get your rabbit some medicine at least 2-3 times a day, watch and make sure there is no vommiting, make sure it eats at least twice, put it on a diet, besides what it normally eats, something light and healthy, keep in a good tempature, make sure if any signs of bleeding in anything, take immeadate action and take to the vet! Please don't buy from a breeder. So many rabbits need homes as it is. Here is the main website for the House Rabbit Society. I'm sure they have a link to the UK. Please find a local chapter.

my dad owns a pet shop in liverpool that deals in rabbits like neathland dwarfs, dwarf lops, english, german lops, french lops and british giants, he used to be registered with the british rabbit councli, go to google and search "arts aquatics and animals"

Go to bunnyrabbit.com and go to breeders list there should be someone near or local to your area i use it to get my breeder rabbits but you can use it as a pet website to.

i suggest going to your nearest pets @ home store and asking one of the assistants - they sell many types of rabbit and you can be sure it is in good health because it is a reputable chainstore, i also got my french lop from pets at home in warrington - shes grey and cute - her names flopsy! *Awwwww*
