If you're talking about boundaries, then (as far as we humans know) there isn't any. According to current theory, the universe is and will continue to expand for billions if not trillions of years. At that point, who knows? Maybe forever!

One of the predictions of Einsteins equations (which has been experimentally proven), is that space is curved; there are no straight lines in the universe. If it were possible to take off on a line of sight and travel fast enough and far enough, you would eventually end up exactly where you started! Consider this: moments before the big bang, all matter was compressed into a single point. Since then, the universe has been expanding, leaving us with the conclusion that the center AND the boundary of the universe is every point WITHIN the universe. You are the beginning and the end...and so is every other point in the universe.

With something so large as the universe, how can you tell the beginning of the universe from the end of it? Is it all a matter of perspective? And the only way you're ever want to be able to find out is to go outside the universe... and who realistically can do that? Good luck in Romania!

uni =1! verse=side or concept or sentence,so i guess where the twiverse and traverse begins but all are words spokin like the alpha verse take any letter code or spelling and you will see its connected as one system, symbology might change but it has the same meanings a rock is a rock no matter what you call it so its still of the same verse!! now what if one university and another university seperate now just like going though the doors how do you get from one to the other?now go any direction around the world in a straight line !!if you notice though everything even if they are as doors you come back to the same conclusion that they are all connected as one system no matter which house yu are in!!so when do yu quit lookin for the end and just be content with the universe?

I believe the BigBang started from point zero and progressed outwards in a cone shape,I need not explain the Big Bang to you IM sure.. Anyway with this in mind I also thing that it continues even now, ever progressing outwards towards to edge of the cone it creates itself, leaving ripples like ripples on a pond in turn forming another dimension within these ripples in turn bearing a new universe into each ripple, SO what IM saying is I do not think we can get to the end of the universe unless we travel faster than the speed of light and take-over the progression of the continuing BigBang,This also brings me to the conclusion that travelling back in time is far more easy than going forwards, still possible just not yet.

Hi,

Where is the end of planet Earth? Nowhere cause it is not a straight line.

Same way with Universe might be. Some say it is flat but still curved means you can travel from A - all around the universe until you reach same point A

Our understanding of the universe is limited to only as far as light will travel. Following the big bang, matter scattered in an instant and the universe physically continues to expand even today. Light travels faster than physical matter. So even today, the light front boundary continues to expand as we speak. Consider an ever expanding sphere. Math says that this front should slow expanding once a critical level is reached. Nobody knows when that is. Of course what lies beyond our sphere of light is anyones guess. is there a finite boundary? What lies beyond that boundary? A little beyond our present explaining capabilites.

Interesting question, according to String Theory the end of the universe should be less than 1/4 of an inch from here.

*Chuckles* A large explosion, caused by God, with no boundrys means the universe is roughly spherical (Round) in form. We are located roughly 3.5 billion lightyears from the expanding gas bubbles edge we call our "universe". This is only approximate based on NASA observations from the Hubble Telescope, and several ESA's observations

yes this is difficult to say that what is the end the universe. but astronomers have to answer that one that the universe is expanding continously so the the expandation when staps no one can answer even big bang theory also reveals that it will expand forever and also by the continous observations of astronomers we can say that the end ofthis universe at infinity. understand?
