A VERY EXPENSIVE DRESS, because I have never had one

Okay, just in advance, anyone who says "a lottery ticket" deserves to be shot. Greed is filth.

I'd put the money in the bank and never spend a penny of the original sum. I would live off the interest, and when it had accumulated enough, buy a house. I value stability. There's not need for excesses. One house with enough bedrooms for my bf and I and potential future children is enough, and perhaps a car - nothing flashy - a Peugeot 206/306 would be just fine. I might help my parents out with housing. Again, nothing spectacular - that's just pretentious. And then I'll have what I need really, so a lot of the interest can go to good causes like Cancer Research and Hospices etc. I'd rather save someone's life than have a pretty new dress from Gucci or whatnot.

Money is evil unless you spend it wisely. Magic Penny - Give it away.

The first thing I would buy is a dress so that I look good when I collect the cheque then once in my bank I would split the money three ways - part for me, my husband, and family. Then I would give from my share to friends and charity. I would search for people that I no longer see that I know have struggled and help them I would buy machines for the vets and machines for babies units. I would help so many people because that's where I would get the most joy.

You've made me start dreaming now........

Well I would make a list of everything I've ever wanted and have never been able to afford.

House for me
House for my Mum with staff and a chauffeur - then she could really be a Baroness
Brand new cars - always had second hand
holidays - always made do with a caravan
jewellery - just love to be able to buy that ring I've had my eye on..
new furniture - always had second hand
champagne - only the best.....
the best of everything

Oh what a lovely dream..........

And the leave this country behind and sodding Tony Blair...........

The first thing I would do is pay off my kids student loans. Then I would set up trust funds for my kids and grandkids that they could not breech or change. I would pay off all of my bills, especially my mortagage. I would buy my wife a new car. And I would buy a small cabin on Kelly's Island in Lake Erie and fish all summer. Oh yeah, I would buy one hell of a boat!

A Standard Car that my dad orinigally restored. He spent ages doing up the car on very little money as we were quite hard up. He was soo sad when he sold it and I know it's featured in magazines by people traveling all over in it. It would be worth millions in happiness to get it back for him.
