There is lots of talk about Lou Pinella and Bob Brennly but I dont think it will be either. The Tribune Company will choose someone that will create a buzz with the fans however becase that is what they do. As long as they can still make money and not spend money on things like big name players or a manager they will. The Cubs fans really need to drop this die hard mentallity that is preventing their front office from needing to produce a winner. You can still love the team and be upset about losing. Selling out every home game and buying million dollars of merchandise wont make them feel any urgency about winning.

It should be Buck Showalter since he seems to have a way to get players to get motivated and if there was ever a team that needed to be motivated, it has to be the Flubs - oops, Cubs. Baker should start packing his bags.
