Definitely Mac! I am a big fan of Mac, they make great products. The best advise I can give you is to go to the Mac counter wearing the dress and ask the sales associate to help you find the right colors. That's what they are there for.

It depends on whether you want a truely funky look or a pretty, complimentary look. Personally I enjoy the funky look best, especially with such a brightly colored dress.

For a funky look you have two different options: match your colors up to the dress or use contrasting colors to the colors on the dress.

For a matching funky look using MAC:
1. Apply Shroom eyeshadow from lash line to brow bone (neutral highlight color).
2. Apply Humid eyeshadow (shimmery emerald green) to lid and blend into crease.
3. Apply Juxt eyeshadow (lightly shimmery lime) to the inner corner of the eye.
4. Apply Femme Noir (dark matte green) to the crease, blending well.
5. Apply several coats of black mascara.

For a contrasting funky look using MAC:
1. Apply Naked Lunch eyeshadow (light neutral pink) from lashline to brow bone to highlight.
2. Apply Satellite Dreams eyeshadow (deep, shimmery purple) from lashline to crease blending well.
3. Apply Beautiful Iris to the inner corner and just above where you applied Satelite Dreams for an extra pop of light purple shimmer.
4. Apply Black Tied eyeshadow (matte black with silver sparkle)into the crease, blending well.
5. Apply two coats of black mascara.

If you still crave a funky look but don't own the colors I've listed or can't afford to pick them all up at once, MAC shadesticks are a great options for a bright pop of color. You could use any neutral eyeshadow to highlight the brow bone, then use either Lucky Jade all over the lid for a lime green look or Royal Hue all over the lid for a contrasting deep purple hue. You could also pick up Beige-ing Shadestick to highlight the browbone, it would compliment both Lucky Jade and Royal Hue.

If you want to go with the pretty, complimentary eye, I would suggest a nice sheer wash of a light highlight color from lashline to browbone (Naked Lunch is a great choice), followed by a precise line of black liquid liner applied very carefully to the lash line then flicked up a little at the end. You could then pretty much choose any lipcolor you prefer, although a rosey plum would seem to compliment your dress best.

The best advise is not to use the lime or green color. Use natural earth tones closets to your skin color. Mac offers great lines of colors and can have someone help you at local counters.

Remember that makeup is supposed to highlight your face and bring out your best features, if you used the same color as your dress it would look like you cut out a piece of it and pasted it onto your eyelids. Better yet, start looking at your skin tones, eye color, etc., then look for whatever makes your face look outstanding instead of your dress. It also depends on what kind of dress it is, evening, casual, formal and adapt your makeup to that as well.

Try putting a small dash of pearl hue in the inner corner of ur eyelids. That will give ur eyes a nice twinkle.Try using gold, especially if u hav got a gr8 tan.Or just don't use anything. Take ur bronzer powder and lightly dust it onto ur eyelids, to get a soft shimmer

Don't use green...that would be way too much. Purple would look okay. Grey or chocolate brown would be nice too. It really all depends on your eye color. A good rule of thumb is to wear what goes best with your features...not what matches what you're wearing.

try a smoky grey and maybe lighten it as you go farther up to the brow bone. using any shade of green may be too much unless you just line your upper lid with a dark green, but if you do do this, make sure that it is a think line....good luck darlin!!

well really it should be about your eye color, but with the dress i'd say a light green to match, or a shimmery gold if you have

brown eyes use; grey, purple, and blue
blue; browns, camel, and taupe
and gree; pink, orange and mauve

Try to match the color of your dress but lighter. Use the lighter color for your base and the darker color for your crease.

A neutral color which compliments your skin. The dress has enough color. If you try to match it, you won't look right.
