Don't want to pinpoint specific questions, but looking at them, anyone with half a brain can see what I'm talking about...

Interesting question.

I'd like to see that too. It seems to take a lot of time to pick through the ridiculous questions long enough to find one that merits answering.

I've tried to take some time to report questions that were offencive, inappropriate, or miscategorised. I bet that if everyone who cared did the same, that we could reduce the amount of garbage on this site.

Not to mention the pornographic questions. Aren't there enough porn sites on the Internet without having to turn this forum into one as well?

And have you noticed how many illiterate people there are out there? Apparently the written language is a dying art...

Just go to topics that the juveniles don't have any interest or if they are answering just selectively delete. You could also do your own search directly.
Just take it like the jokes and riddle section with a sense of humor or choose to ignore.

I like to read questions and see if I can research their answer and give my opinion on matters.

Unfortunately, services like ASK cater to the lowest common denominator. Ninnies who are in it for the point glory, answer any and every question with little regard for courtesy. Other ninnies answer with flip, disrespectful responses just because they can, or they are silly children, or silly adults with silly children attitudes.

yeah, I agree there are a lot of stupid questions (also, don't forget about stupid answers), but some people on here find it amusing and don't want to be serious all of the time. The beauty of it is that you are able to choose which questions you want to answer.
