A fan on high speed will lower the feels like temp up to 14 degrees, this will allow you to use less AC therefore saving you money. The fan itself uses very little electricity only a few cents per hour and maybe 2-3 cents more on high.

Yes a lower speed will consume less energy than a higher speed if that is the only factor in the equation. However you can save more energy if you have the fan on high and the air conditioner is set at a higher setting. It's a question of maximum efficiency for your comfort.

As a rule of thumb, the higher the fan speed, the less higher the efficiency in converting electrical energy to motor power. this means, theoretically, that you shouldn't use more electricity when the fan is running fast since its efficiency is higher. I don't know whether the theory is accurate, but there it is for you to think about.

Yes, lower speed uses less energy. I have my thermostat set at 75 and run the ceiling fans on medium. Works for me.
