I have been in a book club for 4 years....we have 18 women...Lots of fun. Each month we take turns and someone has book-club meeting at their home. We bring a dish and a drink if needed(pop)a favorite book is "second glance" Jodi Picoult. Most favorite is "secret life of bees" by Sue monk Kidd. We have lots of fun. Also, if someones home is not big enough, then another woman will hold it.....Everyone is able to express their viewpoints without someone getting mad........Just fun to be together.

I have been the head of a book club for 8 years and we have a blast. Same thing everyone can express their viewpoint and feel free. We have all become super friends and do other things together each month like go to lunch or the movies.

I don't like belonging to clubs but I do love books. The closest I come to belonging to a bookclub is being registered with various sellers of rare books. My favorite choice changes frequently and is usually about anything relating to 18th-century European history. For now it's a biography called Count Hans Axel von Fersen by H. Arnold Barton.
