I would like to write for a fashion magazine but I am confused what major I should look for in a college? I was not sure if there was a major called fashion journalism.

I would think there's not a major called Fashion Journalism, but that's okay. You want to learn general journalism and writing. That will give you the ability to write and report about anything, including fashion.

Journalism, Communications, or English
Different schools offer different majors. There may different paths under each major (i.e. English - Literature v. English - Education). Or you may pick Journalism and minor in fashion design or art.

There are several schools that offer "fashion journalism" as a major or even a degree program. You may need to study in New York, Chicago, or Europe to find those most directly related.

Journalism...also pick up a minor in English. Also, you MUST pick up an internship...do as many internships as you can...I wish I did. Also, write for your university publication. Volunteer. Join journalism clubs...all of these things are extremely important and I wish someone would have told me when I was in college.
