I was thinking about going today but I have heard alot of bad reviews.

Brandon Routh played a great Superman and reminded me a lot of Christopher Reeves
Kevin Spacey played a better Lex Luthor than Gene Hackman.
Kate Bosworth was not a very good Lois Lane I thought Margot Kidder played her better.
all in all I thought the movie was very good. I thought Kevin played Lex much more ruthless like he is in the comic books.

It's good on its own merit. Lot's of people (critics) are comparing it to the other Superman films. It's entertaining and I suggest you see it despite all the reviews. The run time is about 2 hours and 35 minutes.
If you want a real treat I also suggest Pirate of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. However I suggest you see the original before doing so.

Here in the Philippines, I am hearing negative reviews from our local movie reviewer. But no matter how bad it is, I will still watch this movie because Superman is Superman. He's part of my childhood.

Yes the new superman is good. I enjoyed it alot. The best part is the visuals. Bryan Singer did a good job in directing. Brandon Routh did a very good job also. The movie is 2hrs and 45mins long or so. Some say it's too long but for me, if the movie is good I dont mind, I get my moneys worth.

I didn't realize they had movie theatres in the swamps of Mississippi. I heard it was ok and its almost 2 1/2 hours long

I say **** the reviews. If I ever wanna see a movie I see it. I dont care what other people think about it.

160 minutes. I've heard mixed reviews. Its making alot of money, so it must not be that bad.

the original superman movies were classic. remakes are always bad except for harry potter and lord of the rings

it was good till the ending. then it went haywired.
