You don't say what time the wedding is or how formal it is (don't guess about this - find out for sure). You also don't mention where the wedding and reception are located (inside, outside, formal golf course, country club, church & hotel reception hall, YMCA, etc).

If it's not formal and the reception starts before 5, a nice casual sundress would be great, as long as it is to the knees or longer. Please no colours that resemble a wedding dress or the 'colours' of the wedding. NO FLIP FLOPS!!! Wear a nice pair of sandals.

If the reception starts after 5pm, and it's not a semi-formal or formal wedding, then you'll want to be a little dressier. Not quite cocktail attire, but modified cocktail attire. I'll link below to some appropriate dresses.

If it's a semi-formal wedding, then you'll need a cocktail style dress. This means a nicer fabric, longer in length.

If it's formal, then you will need an Evening gown (black tie optional) or prom style dress/ball gown (black tie or white tie). Think Oscars or Emmys style dress.

If the wedding is in a church, please have a wrap available to cover your shoulders. This will be for your comfort and out of respect to your surroundings. I'd also steer clear of any ultra hot colours like red or hot pink. : )

You're choosing a good time to shop, because many nice summer clothing is now on sale. You are 15, so why don't you buy a pretty sundress. Since the wedding will be October, perhaps you could look for a dress in any deeper shade. It is always nice to dress up pretty for a wedding. Have fun!

a hoop is a emblem, it does not outline. i latterly lost my wedding ceremony band - it slipped off even as we were planting this previous spring. I have worn that ring for in simple terms about 24 years now. that's between the few textile issues that had meaning. I remind myself that's fullyyt a textile 'element' yet i'm unhappy that's gone. we do not have the money accurate this second to substitute it, yet we are able to in some unspecified time sooner or later. So, immediately i'm married and not in any respect donning a hoop (I not in any respect needed an engagement ring). i attempt to comic tale about it - I tell my husband to save his distance when we are out as i'd have the ability to p.c.. someone up - lol. also, i understand couples who're allergic (I have a pal who can't placed on any metallic) or whose jobs require they placed on no earrings. from time to time there are good motives people do not placed on a hoop even as married. I probably doesn't observe if someone become not donning a hoop. It does not count to me.

If you were older and the bride weren't your cousin, I'd say dress in something chaste and tasteful and wear with approachable regality. The message is "I'm wearing these clothes because if I were wearing my usual stuff the groom would dump the bride and propose to me instead, but I'm so polite that I'd never say it."

Wear what ever you look the best in. Go for pink (I'm guessing is your favorite) or any pastel colors. Trying on the clothes is half the fun, so shop everywhere.
