Why don't you take your battle to your homeland and ask your leaders to make YOUR country a better place?

I've got news for you, the US doesn't own a patent for freedom. Hmmm . . . last time I checked freedoms were FREE! Maybe not were you come from??

You've got natural resources in your homeland? Yes?

You've got educated people in your homeland? Yes?

So why don't you stay at home, and tell your great leaders to run the show a little better?

I don't begrudge anyone to seek a better way of life for themselves or their family. But if the better life means they have to LEAVE their homeland to seek it elsewhere, I wonder why other nations are run so ineptly, and why millions want to run to the US.

If this is such a bad place to be, according to so many bashers and America-haters, why do so many people flock here -- with papers, w/o papers? But more importantly why are conditions in these "original states of origin" so FOUL that people have to disrupt their lives to seek out a better existence?

You're an immigrant if you're here legally. Anything else is NOT an immigrant. It's an ILLEGAL immigrant.

There's a huge difference.

Why illegals would come here and expect to be treated as regular citizens (with access to public school, food stamps, welfare, voting), is beyond me.

Yeah, of course you're human. But you're not American until you're here legally and gain citizenship. And until you're an American, you shouldn't expect to have all the same rights and benefits provided by this country as the rest of us.

Why should the United States have to change it's ways to adapt to immigrants? When our ancestors fought for our freedom and to have it taken away to adapt to the feelings of others who for the most part is illegal is not right. If you want to be here then be legal and speak English....don't expect us to change for you!!!!!

Yeah, you're human, but our economy is hurting because of you imigrants. It's great that you dream of freedom, just try to keep it in your own country.
