Why do woman go for guys that treat them like dirt and blow off the guys that treat them right?

Becuase women know what they want, but not what they need. They are irrational and emotional which is a cocktail that leads to severe insanity. They are comfortable only when they are constantly questioning themselves. This is why they choose the bad guys. He ignores her, so she gets to enter the comfortable "What is wrong with me" zone. The second issue at hand is that the good guy does not need to be fixed. He thinks she is wonderful the way she is and that is just wrong. If a bad guy is not into her then she gets to try to fix herself or even better...she gets to try and fix him.

Because some women have a savior complex when it comes to "bad boys", and they think they can "tame" the savage beast within. But if they go on to marry these types, they usualy live to regret it.

Don't worry, stay a nice guy and then one day you'll be the marrying material. Part of the reason nice guys are treated like dirt is because deep down, they know you will always be around, so you'll be there when they need them.

Because women are idiots until they realize that the guy who is right for them is the guy who had been there for them for the past several years watching her fall and stumble through relationships and life, and had always been there to offer support and a shoulder to cry on. The bad guys get the attention but the good guys get the friendship and love. It took me 4 years to get together with my fiance. Another psychology question. If a man is strong and able to provide for her so she can raise children, it doesn't matter how he treats her; instinct is the key word here. Women instinctively go for aggressive men due to their ability to provide. But in today's world, it is almost unnesecary to be aggressive, and so the confusion sets-in. Men understand that they can provide, reguardless of physical or mental strength. Some women have LEARNED this, too, but it is a LEARNED behavior, not an instinctive one.

Not all, buy many YOUNG women are attracted to "bad boys" until they find out just what that means...then they come running to Y!A! for advice, how to escape, what to do with the children, how to handle an abusive husband, etc. Unfortuantely, some women make a career of bad husband material. To answer your question, it is because they have not come to terms with who they are, and are not ready to make a decision as to what they want for themselves, alot has to do with how a person is raised and the types of ideals that are ingrained in them.... let me give you an example I was raised by a very strict, regimented military father, it was his way or the highway...he didnt allow me to truly be my own person and as I sought my independence vowing to find better than I had known, I ended up with a domineering husband..
I know myself more now and would not have gone for the type of person I am now with....

Because they are immature. Once a women is in her late twenties (26, 27, 28, etc.) she has most likely learned the hard way that it is best to avoid men who treat them badly.
