I do not share my razor. To many diseases are transmitted by blood.
Your Costco question comes at an interesting time because I just bought 16 blades. I use a disposable razor for 2 or 3 weeks before I throw it away -- typically my first warning sign is when the aloe strip is starting to fade -- then I notice the razor isn't as effective.

The disposables are made with a lower grade steel and are designed to last for only one or two shaves on normal growth. Given that you only get one or two uses I don't think you could share them...but I would not share any personal hygiene product (razors, toothbrushes, etc).

I use the Schick Quattro and I replace the razor after maybe 20 uses. Those things can last FOREVER!!! They cost a lot of money too, so I try and make them last as long as possible!!
I would NEVER share a razor. I'm pretty particular about my toiletry stuff being completely sanitary, so it would bother me if one of my friend's used it to shave her legs or even my husband using it on his face!!!

Usually every two weeks, after about 10 shaves at the most, because the blades get dull and rusty. And don't share your razor, it's like your toothbrush.

OMG NO, I do NOT will NOT NO how share my razor.
And it depends on the brand I am using how many times I can use them. The ones I am using now are nice, I can use them for a couple weeks. Generic ones I can usually only use twice though before they get too dull and I don't get a nice smooth shave anymore.

i never share my razors. i leave my razors out at home. but its only my son. and he is so picky as well, he won't use my razors. he's got his own. i use them about 2 or 3 times. i dont' shave every day though. but they get dull from the water i'm guessing. cause i dont' use them often. so i end up throwing them out. when travelling, i keep them in my travel kit. i keep extra's with me. so if someone needs one i give it to them and dont' ask for it back

I change mine every week, whether it needs it or not.
The problem with sharing your razor isn't HIV. HIV doesn't last very long outside the body. The real danger is hepatitis B and C. Hepatitis B, for example, can last for months outside the body, and even bleaching doesn't kill it unless you soak it for 12 hours.
Hepatitis is essentially incurable and just as deadly as AIDS. It just takes a little longer to kill you.
