i have downloaded a program from yahoo before, but i can not find it now.

if you click on an email address in a web page explorer will open either hotmail, outlook, but not yahoo there is no choice for yahoo, i nkow in the past i have downoaded a program to do this from yahoo.

Hi, Don. Yahoo no longer offers that little program--or whatever it was--to allow Yahoo to be the default mail in Internet Explorer. I had wanted it too and had written to customer service about it. They got back to me and said that they were sorry to see it go, but that they no longer offered the download. I guess we're S.O.L.

Hey Don,
To Change your default email program, follow these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the browser.
3. Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
4. Click the "Programs" tab.
5. In the Email box, select the email program you wish to use. (in this case, yahoo mail)
6. Click the "OK" button.

From the Menu bar, Choose Tool and select "Internet Option". Then type http://www.mail.yahoo.com/ at the address then click apply, after that Ok.

you'll have to download the yahoo toolbar and use that icon to retrieve mail.
