In spanish we have a saying "La muerte perdona a nadie" (death forgives no one). Biologically, we begin to die the moment we are born. We lose cells from various parts of our bodies, and some are not replaceable. Philisophically, death is an inherited trait that every human possesses. It reminds us that we are mortal and will eventually die. Besides, who wants to live forever?

The world and especially those in the US of A spend a lot of money and effort to make death a cultural phenomenon.

Our culture although it fears death greatly has learned to romanticized death and playing with death is reinforced with metaphors like "Life on the Fast Lane", the razors edge, take it to the limit ........

Hollywood and the medias do very well marketing pushing the envelop and wall street makes a pretty penny playing on our fears of getting old and dying.

It is justified to say that what is not spoken of in a society is acted out by their young. As the adult mainstream in a denial of death focus on breast implants, Viagra, face lifts or having doctors shoot them up with viable cells from dead babies ........ Their children are busy playing with death ... joining gangs, abusing drugs to create alternate realities ..... pathological actions where the closer they get to death the more the feel alive ..... and as a direct consequence they become jaded for normal life becoming hyperactive, bored, depressed, anxious and antisocial.

So a lot of death is socially learned beliefs, attitudes and behaviors so the statement death is hereditary is pretty lame.

It does not add up since none of us really know what death is, it happens in infinite ways. Sex is hereditary, if your parents didn't have it, neither will you.

in a matter of speaking, yes, death is hereditary.....we all are going to die someday. It is what you do with your life, while you are alive that makes the difference.....live life to the fullest and in the way that your religion says you should....let the grim ripper worry about death...that is his job and we surly don't want to step on his toes....now do we????
