Do what makes you happy!! You don't have to please anyone else except for yourself. I don't care what anyone says!!

It doesn't seem you are asking a question as much as making a statement. I am not married either, nor have I ever had any wish to be married. Most people want love, and they perceive this as being partnered in a secure relationship. Our society further defines a 'secure relationship' as a binding legal and/or religious committment to each other.

If you feel good about your life and your choice not to marry, then don't worry about anyone else's opinion. The high rate of divorce shows how many people there are that don't know how to make a choice that's right for them. Keep sailing your smooth waters and live happy. ;)

I am 63, I've been married twice, and both wives left me for another man. Which one of us made the right decisions? To be honest, if I had the power, I would undo both marriages. Divorce is too easy to get today, and it seems that no one wants to do the work to commit to a long lasting relationship.

I married once, the relationship lasted 23 months and on her 23rd birthday she left. I was going to college on the GI Bill and in Finals, so by the time I could deal with her insecurities, I didn't have to. My dad says after fifty five years of marriage that I am one lucky dude because I never re-married. I agree, don't subject yourself to those who want lies and gifts, they really aren't worth the frustration.

What's the even so? Do you feel like you missed out on anything? If you are content,so be it. You don't owe anyone an explanation of how you choose to live. I personally hope that love finds you, just keep yourself open to recognize and enjoy its possibilities.
