The answer is no, the Local Authories have more duties toward you and you need to contact your Social Worker's Manager to find out why she is only seen u 6 monthy. You should also contact your Citizen advice centre for more advice.

Your social worker is probably working very hard and with out you communicating any difficulties they will continue the same routine. If you appear to be coping well why would they visit more?
Stop chatting here and chat with your social worker at their next visit!

As in ALL relationships communication is most important

That is only a question you can answer, if you dont think it is enough phone her and demand more help, tell her tyou cannot cope., if she acts upon your requests then yes she is doing her job, if she does not hear from you she is still doing her job, because she has no info to go on.

Your Social worker schedules her/his visits around your needs,if you do not let them know that you require more help you they will assume that the visiting schedule for you is right.They cannot read your mind.If you need more help Ask
