It would be great to rid our selves of racism and xenophobia and be able to communicate more easily but I would worry that only having one language etc might stunt our ability to develop different ideas in different places etc and we might become less creative and inventive if we were less diverse. It would be a real shame if people felt less conected to their own culture, which is part of who we all are.
I think immigration laws would stay the same but it would be harder to know who the immigrants were so maybe they would all be "illegal aliens" and no one would care much. It's an interesting idea.

YES. It has nothing to do with the language they speak or what they look like. We do not have the resources to take care of all of them. You don't understand the big picture. They can only work if they steal someone's identity. They can not and do not pay income taxes -- therefore there are more people (a lot more people) driving on our roads that only legal citizens pay for. They have no health insurance or money but they are using our health care system for free as we don't turn people away. I'm going to put in in English FOR YOU. I am an adult. I raised two kids. They were planned children. We did okay but it was still difficult because they are expensive. HOWEVER, if let's say......12 more kids popped over to live in my home on the same income, we would not have been able to feed all of them. We can not take on a whole new country within our own. Immigration is not the issue anyway - a lot of people immigrate here. It's the illegal immigration that is the problem. You try heading to any country of your choice. You will not be able to just enter any country of your choice by just hopping the fence and saying "ok now take care of me" ....

It would just be boring. Too bad people had to go and make a big deal out of the differences of other people, but this has been going on since the world was created. So I guess to most, it is normal. Immigration could still be an issue because it isn't about the differences of people, it is about people from other countries coming into ours illegally and taking advantage of the system to live a better life. You can have all of that if you are just legal. I don't understand what the problem is.

Yes it would still be an issue. The issue with immigration today is basic. People want to cut the line. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people from other countries coming here and wanting to make a better life for themselves and families. However, when you want to skip above people who have enough respect for the country and it's laws to go through the long and exhausting process of becoming a citizen then that becomes a problem. All the naturalized cititzens who came before them had to go through a process to become a citizen to want to skip the line is like spitting in their face. And as far as all of us looking a like how boring would the world be. . .very. All natural citizens of the US do not look alike so I don't understand how you figure looks have anything to do with it.

Then Earth would get to be very boring very quickly. What if all the flowers were the same species and the same color...would they be so beautiful then?
Difference doesn't necessarily mean animosity and the immigration issue cannot be laid to simply being different.

Here's the deal. Everyone DID speak the same language and was of the same race at one time. They all decided that they could build a way to Heaven together instead of following the way God set it up. So, God confused their languages so they couldn't communicate. The "races" came from migrating to different parts of the world. Depending on the climate, the skin tones and customs altered to fit those climates. i.e. pepople in the Europe area have lighter skin and people in the Africa areas have darker skin.

I can answer that with a poem I wrote and have published:
------------------------------------------------------------
Individuality
What a world it would be if we were all
the same!
Same look, same color, same religion,
no change.
People made as if on an assembly line,
assuring perfection each and every time.
There would never be a King, Malcolm or any form,
of a person who didn't think like the
norm.
Great leaders and artists never would have grown,
In a world such as this, they would have remained unknown.
A world like that could never be,
because the last two letters of same
is me.
I'm glad I live in a world where we
never stifle creativity.
We were all made for a purpose you see,
that's why we were created differently.
Not a follower, but a leader be.
There's a lot to be said for individuality.

Evolution, it quite is the shortest answer. Why do Asians have their unique (and eye-catching) eyes? they have extra fats around the eyeball to guard the eyeball from the chilly. Why do Black human beings have darkish epidermis? because Africa is warm with reliable sunlight rays. extra melanin in the floor = extra protection from the sunlight and darker epidermis. also, Africans have a tendency to be tall - not all, although that is a generality. Why tall? because tall lithe bodies launch warmth extra honestly than a short, stout body does. Why do Eskimos have short stocky bodies? study above, it really is because short stocky bodies carry in warmth extra acceptable than tall skinny ones. Why do somewhat MidEasterners have longer noses? because the elements is extremely arid, and the longer a nostril is, the extra acceptable it may moisten the inhaled air. It also filters extra acceptable. in the MidEast there is airborne dirt and dust in the air, because of the Arabian and the Sahara deserts. believe me, i changed into there. The air is dusty, even although you won't be able to see it. So, an prolonged nostril in that climate is extra acceptable. Why do Caucasians have mild epidermis? because in Western (esp. Northwestern) Europe, there's a lot less sunlight. epidermis receives diet D from sunlight, so the lighter epidermis facilitates an significant speedier absorption of sunlight rays, and for this reason diet D, in areas with a lot less sunlight. i am going to bypass on and on, yet you get the point.

Yes, it would still be an issue.
Racism and xenophobia are not caused by skin color or language differences, but by mankind's tendency to separate itself into classes and categories.
After all, we already are all the same race. We are all homo sapiens sapiens. Even if the skin colors are different, we are all human beings.
Yet, we don't perceive this. As humans, we always love to look for differences and not similitudes. Even if we were all of the same ethnicity, we would still be separating ourselves, either in "men vs. women", "people who live here vs. people who live there", "culture A vs. culture B", etc.
Bigotry and discrimination are the result of human ignorance and culture. Even if we had no differences, there would still be dumbasses among us inventing them and coming up with new ways to separate us and promote hate.

You are saying there's no animosity between people of the same race speaking the same language?
In any case, it would be a boring world...

Ah, if only it were so simple. What people of all races and religions must realize is that it is not a question of appearance or beliefs, but a question of have and have not. Social stratification and animosity has more to do with the possession of material items. I hate _____ becuase they have this. I hate _____ becuase they are keeping me from having that. We just fill in the blanks with a group of people, becuase it keeps from holding ourselves accountable.
