Ever since I've had my dogs--I usually have two or three small dogs--I have depended on them to help me with depression and anxiety and now Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I truly do not think I would be alive today without them. They are the only people in my life that are always more loyal to me than I am to myself.
They are my doctors, my confidants, my loving children, and always my most loyal fans. When the "official" doctors have failed to treat my condition and my other family doesn't understand, they are always there.

I refer to all my animals as my kids I feed them, clean up after them, love them, and most of the time they act like a two year old child lol. I feel they are almost the same to an extent

I do. hahaha. We have a dog and two birds and i feel like they are part of my family. Its easy to watch animals' behaviors and assign them personalities like humans have, so it becomes easier to attach yourself to them.
I think many people do the same thing. ^_^

My Siamese cat, Molly, is my daughter. I adopted her and I consider her more precious to me than many people I have ever met. She sleeps with my husband and I everynight, under the covers, with her head on my pillow.

Absolutely. They sleep with us at night, they go on vacations with us, they get their dinner at the same time we do. My dogs and cats are very important members of my family.

Most defiantly all 4 of my ferret's are my baby's. They're on the return address label with me.

I do. It may seem strange to some people, but I honestly don't care. I love my pet.

i do. they are all my babies because you have to feed them like babies, you pick up their poop and you keep them clean by giving them a bath. so absolutely they are my babies. they are family.
