I am not sure as the united kingdom is a country and England is inside the UK so what does that make England then?

Are you serious?? Where are you from, Mars? One of the oldest and greatest countries in world history. Of course I'm an American but my family roots go back before the Mayflower to London and Yarmouth. You do know what the Mayflower was I hope!!
