Yes, I believe he does. He is one of the top charity givers - both in the absolute & percentage wise. Also, he uses his celebrity status & talent (i.e. singing at benefits) to help spread the word.

Maybe he gives 15 or 20% of his earnings, but this dude is a freaking quadrillionaire... seriously, if he is so concerned, it would make more of a statement for him to give up his millions and live like a normal, middle-income person.
if the wealthy were forced to even out their fortunes amongst the poor, we might actually see a change in the 3rd world nations.
and granted, i'm not saying Bono should start writing checks to the starving population of africa... but something should be done about all these "role models" making billions of dollars for looking good in airbrushed photos and videos, etc. celebrities aren't worth the salaries they command.

I was thinking the exact same thing. He's a rich man...if he's so damn interested in helping povery-sticken people, maybe he should pony up some of his millions.
