Why forget? Remember everything this employer did and learn not to work for anyone ever like that again. Look for the hints that remind you of him/her and when you see it - run!
This is also a great way to learn what not to do as a boss. Keep the things that you hated about this employer in mind never to duplicate again.

You move on in life. There are more things to worry about. Like family, friends and your own life. You just forget about it. Employers usually do not live on the same plain of existence as their employees.
Sometimes you need to look in yourself and see if it is really worth worrying about?
Always remember one thing: Don't worry bout what has happened or what may happen save that worry when something IS happening. You ll feel better and live longer and you will be much happier.
Also as an employer myself I know that it isn't always the employer. Did you ever do anything that you weren't supposed to do at the job? Did you ever make unethical decisions? Are you placing blame to feel better about yourself? The reason I ask this is because sometimes perception is key, perhaps you thought you were treated badly but was that the persons style? Did they treat all employees the same? Were they fair to your needs? Employers are always the bad guys when employees are disgruntled, are you disgruntled?
The best thing to do is really get over it and if you cannot contact the said employer for closure.

By doing just that! Forget them and move on. Find a new job or a new career direction. There are good employers and bad ones, there are those you will get on with and those you'll prefer to avoid but this is all part of the 'being in employment' process so do not be discouraged by one bad experience.

Move on - find another job, where with any luck you will be treated better. If somebody treated you badly, it's their problem - don't make it yours.

I quit, find a new job, and screw the company as much as I can on my very last day.
